Honoring Sergeant First Class (Retired) Marilyn Richardson, Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  

Today, we proudly recognize SFC Marilyn Richardson, a devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., who began her military journey in the United States Army Reserve in 1975. She served faithfully as a Clerk Typist, Clerical Instructor, and concluded her distinguished service as a Postal Instructor, retiring honorably in 1998.  

Her duty assignments included: Fort Jackson, SC (her favorite), Fort Bliss, Fort Sam Houston, Fort Polk, Fort Riley, Fort Sill, Fort Smith, and annual training in New Orleans, LA, where she served as an instructor. 

Her words of reflection: “I was always an instructor—never a fighter—but always a soldier.”  

We honor you, Sergeant First Class Richardson, for your service, leadership, and continued commitment to sisterhood and community.
